A healthy lifestyle, one plate at a time.

Not just how much you eat. How well.

  • The plate score shows what matters: vegetables, protein, fat and portion.
  • A day score and a week score, compared with last week: you see the direction, not just one meal.
  • Reminders at lunch and in the evening, at your times, only if you haven't snapped the meal yet.
  • No miracle diets and no guilt. The habit counts, not the perfect meal.

Questions

How much does Calorel cost?

The first 3 plates you analyse are free. Then you need a subscription, monthly or yearly, with a 7-day free trial. The exact price in your currency is shown in the app before you confirm.

How accurate are the calories?

They are estimates from the photo, worked out from recipes and nutrition tables. The portion is the biggest source of differences, which is why you can adjust it before saving the meal.

What is the plate score?

A guide from 1 to 10 for how balanced the meal is: vegetables, protein, fat and portion size. It is not a verdict on your health, but a hint about what to change at the next meal.

Does it recognise food from anywhere?

Yes. Calorel recognises what is on the plate from the photo, wherever you eat. It also knows over 450 Romanian dishes with portions from real menus, so sarmale, mici and ciorbă get their proper values.

Do I need an account?

No. Open the app and snap. No account, no ads; your log and photos stay on your phone.

Does it work on iPhone and Android?

Yes. Calorel is on the App Store (iPhone with iOS 16.4 or newer) and on Google Play. The subscription is bought from your phone's store.

Will it help me lose weight?

It helps you see where you are: Calorel works out a daily calorie goal and shows you, meal by meal, how much of it you have eaten. The steps are yours. For health conditions, ask a doctor or a dietitian.

Is it any good if I go to the gym?

Yes. You see the protein, carbs and fat of every meal, and the calorie goal is worked out from how active you say you are. Yogurts, bars and shakes you scan by barcode.
